T Dependent
Click T-Dependent tab from Property View. Then the following screen will be displayed. T Dependent is an acronym for 'Temperature Dependent', which is a part of showing properties that are temperature-dependent.
Selection Temperature dependent property (A)
This is a part where you can select one of properties among those temperature-dependent properties (a service that MolInstincts provides). The followings are temperature-dependent properties that MolInstincts provides.
Temperature Dependent Properties 1 Heat Capacity of Ideal Gas 2 Heat Capacity of Liquid 3 Heat of Vaporization 4 Liquid Density 5 Surface Tension 6 Thermal Conductivity of Liquid 7 Thermal Conductivity of Gas 8 Vapor Pressure of Liquid 9 Viscosity of Liquid 10 Viscosity of Gas 11 Second Virial Coefficient Selecting a unit of Property (B)
In this part, a user can select a unit of selected property.
Selecting Temperature unit (C)
For a unit of temperature, there are K (absolute temperature), ˚F(Fahrenheit), and ˚C(Celsius).
Designating Temperature Range (D)
For starting and final temperature, it is allowed to input down to 2 decimal points.
Point & Increment (E)
Point
Data that a user entered will be calculated in equal interval, as many times as the number of entered points, within the temperature range that a user set.
Increment
It is calculated based on the interval as much as the increment within the temperature range that a user entered.
If the number of calculated points is more than 20 within the set temperature range after applying the entered interval, a warning message will pop up. Then press OK to apply the entered interval to starting temperature, resulting in the calculation result of 20 points.
Execute (F)
It carries out the calculation using input conditions.
Data Export
It can Export the estimates of temperature-dependent properties. This function can be executed by pressing DataExport under Main Menu File.
