Constant

Click Constant tab from Property View. Then the following screen will be displayed.

• Constant Properties List

  This tab provides MolInstincts estimate for each property, Joback, Gani`s estimate, and Comment on each estimate. The followings are Constant Properties that MolInstincts provides.

• Fold All / Unfold All (A)

  Click the corresponding property to unfold and display the estimated values by MOLINSTINCTS and other methods, which are compared to experimental data when available. Click the corresponding property again to fold back to initial screen.

  * The following properties are given at standard state (298.15K, 1bar). The phase information at standard state (298.15K, 1bar) recommended by MOLINSTINCTS is provided as well.

• Changing Unit for each Property (B)

  To change a unit for each property, use B section to unfold hidden unit box.

  

• Hiding an Estimate for each Property (C)

  Click C section in front of property name of each property to hide estimates(MolInstincts, Joback, Gani) of relevant property.

  

• Changing the entire Unit for each Property

  To change the unit of entire property (not just a unit for each property), useMainMenu>Options>Preference.

  

  Select Preference under Options. Then a window will pop up as shown below.

  

  It is possible to change unit either by designating a unit for each property or by using calorie-based (D) and Joule-based (E). In order to hide a particular property from the MolInstincts Navigator, uncheck F part to hide the property from the MolInstincts Navigator. (Refer to the figure below)

  

• Data Export

  It can Export the estimates of temperature-dependent properties. This function can be executed by pressing DataExport under Main Menu File.

  

  Estimate Export of temperature-dependent property can export the estimate of property that is being displayed on the MolInstincts Navigator.
